Etiquette
The following rules of etiquette (or netiquette) help keep the discussion board clear and clean.
- Please do not “hijack” threads. Threads are single-topic discussions. Hi-jacking a thread means to change the subject. If a thread makes you want to talk about another subject, please start a new thread. (For example, a thread about Doctoral Programs at University X should not be “hi-jacked” by somebody wishing to talk about programs at University Y.)
- Please use a clean language.
- Please keep your signature short.
- Please do not double-post a thread.
Posting a new discussion thread
- First, you need to be logged in to the site. If you do not have an account yet, please click on “Register” at the top-right of the site and follow the steps.
- In the discussion section, click on the “New Thread” button.

- You will see the following editor. The subject is the title of your new thread that will appear in the forum.

- Once your message is ready, click submit at the bottom of the window. Your post will be displayed:

If you go back to the Forum page, you will see your thread listed.

Replying to a thread
- Make sure you are logged in.
- Click one of the following: Quick Reply, Reply or Quote.

Quick Reply allows you to reply without reloading the page. Reply allows you to reply using the full text editor. Quote allows you to reply while quoting another person.
